CNOOC Petrochemical has applied for a patent for a vibration-damping and impact-resistant device and control system for pipelines based on magnetorheological damping, whereby the magnetorheological damping fluid is used to provide the appropriate resistance for the first buffer plate. According to information from the Intellectual Property Office, dated August 7, 2025, CNOOC Petrochemical Engineering Co., Ltd. has filed a patent application titled “Vibration-damping and Impact-resistant Device and Control System for Pipelines Based on Magnetorheological Damping”; the publication number is CN120426466A, and the application was submitted in April 2025. The patent abstract indicates that the present invention provides a vibration-damping and impact-resistant device for conveyor pipelines based on magnetorheological damping, as well as a control system for it. It falls within the technical field of pipeline vibration damping and impact protection. This vibration-damping and impact-resistant device for conveyor pipelines based on magnetorheological damping includes a first sealing body; a first buffer plate is arranged within this second sealing body, and the upper surface of said first buffer plate is connected to the support rod ; The second sealing body is filled with magnetorheological damping fluid, and a first electromagnetic coil is embedded in the first buffer plate. The first inner tube of the first sealing body of the vibration-damping and impact-resistant device for conveyor pipes based on magnetorheological damping provided by the present invention is sleeved on the conveyor pipe and fixed thereon ; The support rod is inserted into the second sealing body, which contains magnetorheological damping fluid. A first electromagnetic coil is embedded in the first buffer plate mounted on the support rod; by adjusting the intensity of the current, the magnetorheological damping fluid can be controlled so that it provides an appropriate resistance to the first buffer plate.
