Tender for design and procurement of the Nylon 66 capacity expansion project in Ningxia – August 29, 2025. On August 25, Ningxia Ruitai Technology Co., Ltd. conducted a tender for the design and procurement related to its project aimed at removing bottlenecks in the production process, with a target capacity of 80,000 tons/year of Nylon 66 and 50,000 tons/year of hexamethylenediamine. Ningxia Ruitai Technology Co., Ltd. is a joint-stock subsidiary established with investment from Jiangsu Yangnong Chemical Group Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Sinochem International. It serves as another key production base that Yangnong Group is developing in the western region. On April 17, the project titled “Development and Industrialization of Key Technologies for Producing High-Quality Hexamethylenediamine via the Caprolactam Method”, jointly developed by Jiangsu Yangnong Chemical Group Co., Ltd., Xiamen University, and Ningxia Ruitai Technology Co., Ltd., successfully passed the appraisal of scientific and technological achievements. Jiangsu Yangnong Chemical Group Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China National Chemicals Corporation, has built the world’s first 10,000-ton-scale adiponitrile production facility using the caprolactam process at Ningxia Ruite Technology Co., Ltd. The facility was successfully put into operation in May 2022, achieving industrial-scale production of 40,000 tons of nylon 66 and 50,000 tons of hexamethylenediamine per year. It has been operating stably for two years now. The company plans to expand and upgrade its production capacity by optimizing certain processes and adding supplementary equipment. This will increase the current annual production capacity—40,000 tons of nylon 66 and 25,000 tons of intermediate J—to 80,000 tons of nylon 66 and 50,000 tons of intermediate J per year.
