For tripartite projects, progress control in design generally involves submitting the civil excavation drawings prior to the start date agreed upon with the client; thereafter, the drawings for levels below ±0 are provided. At this point, the detailed design work has just begun, which requires close coordination among design, procurement, and construction teams, as well as timely adjustments to the sequence of various construction phases. Those who can resume work should first set aside key priorities for progress control, with the focus on: ① the deadline for submitting the pile foundation drawings ; ②Excavation plan submission node ; ③±Submission node for civil engineering foundation drawings below 0 ; ④Deadline for submitting quotation documents for long-cycle equipment (such as towers, internals, pumps, compressors, furnaces, complete sets, special materials, auxiliary equipment sets, etc.) ; ⑤Specification sheet for imported or domestic instrument control valves ; ⑥List of imported facilities (equipment, valves, etc.) and quotation request documents ; ⑧List of specifications for large-diameter valves ; ⑨First batch of concrete superstructure drawings ; ⑩Steel structure material preparation drawing ; ⑪Steel structure construction drawings ; ⑫First version (30% or 60% based on project scale and actual progress) of the official comprehensive material sheet ; ⑬Second edition (40%-70% based on project scale and actual progress) of the official comprehensive material sheet. Keep the number of editions to no more than 3; too many editions seriously hinder material control ; ⑭All construction drawings have been submitted ; ⑮Design change terminated. Progress control measures – Planning: Plans are divided into four levels of scheduling, which can be organized hierarchically based on quality considerations. However, it is important to mention a 60-90 day schedule: this refers to a plan that must be submitted to the client 2-4 weeks after the project contract comes into effect. This 90-day plan is derived from the overall plan, with a three-month lead time, and it is further broken down into specific tasks; the implementation of these tasks follows a bi-weekly rolling schedule. When a deviation occurs, identify the cause of the deviation and prepare a description to submit for confirmation by the company’s management and the client. Based on the overall project milestones and schedule plan, the progress plan is broken down into individual specialties and their respective tasks, with biweekly rolling reviews conducted to ensure that the details at each level of tracking are as specific as possible. Taking instruments as an example (the same applies to other specialties), the contents of their design schedule can be described as: ① Instrument drawing catalog (final document). ②Instrument index table (final file). ③Instrument specification sheet (final document). ④I/O list (final document). ⑤Instrument cable wiring diagram (final document). ⑥Instrument power supply system diagram (final file). ⑦Instrument grounding system diagram (final file). ⑧Instrument material list (final document). ⑨Cable tray layout diagram (final file). ⑩Piping and wiring layout plan (final file). ⑪Instrument inquiry document (procurement document). ⑫Quotation request for instrument materials (procurement document). ⑬Instrumentation Technical Agreement (Procurement Technical Document). ⑭Instrument Material Technical Agreement (Procurement Technical Document). ⑮Instrument supplier information.
