Saiding Engineering won the bid for the design project of the Turpan Coal-Based New Materials Industrial Park. On December 15, 2025, it was announced that the company had been selected to carry out the preliminary design and construction drawings preparation for the project aimed at improving the infrastructure of the industrial parks in Turpan Economic Development Zone – specifically, the Coal-Based New Materials Circular Industrial Park project. This project is part of the infrastructure development for the Coal-Based New Materials Circular Industry Park. The main construction elements include: transportation facilities: construction of 35 kilometers of roads within the park (including main roads and side roads), as well as 18 kilometers of pipeline networks ； Energy facilities: 2 220 kV substations, 1 110 kV substation, 25 kilometers of 35 kV transmission lines ； Environmental support facilities: solid waste landfill (capacity to be determined), hazardous chemicals parking lot, and 30 kilometers of associated pipeline networks ； Smart facilities: Purchase water quality/sludge monitoring systems, IoT sensing devices for park management, and intelligent control equipment. Park positioning: The Turpan Economic Development Zone’s Coal-based New Materials Circular Industry Park is one of the core components of Turpan’s “one zone, five parks” development framework (with a planned area of 4 square kilometers). Leveraging the local Aiding Lake coal resources, it focuses on the development of coal-based new materials and coal chemical circular industries; for example, Hengyi Group’s 2.4 million tons per year coal-to-ethylene glycol project has been established in this park, with a total investment of 25.7 billion yuan ； Purpose of the project: To provide coal-based new material enterprises in the park with essential infrastructure such as roads, energy supply, and environmental protection facilities; it serves as a prerequisite project for the operation of subsequent industrial projects.
