Do the electrical equipment in the hydrogen peroxide storage area need to be explosion-proof? For a simple hydrogen peroxide storage tank, no explosion-proof facilities are required within its cofferdam area. The spacing between tanks for this storage tank can be determined in accordance with the requirements for Class A tanks, and a specified fire protection distance must be maintained between the tank area and the production facilities ； Electrical equipment in the tank farm does not need to be explosion-proof. In an environment with only hydrogen peroxide, and in the absence of other flammable gases or dusts, it is sufficient to select equipment with appropriate corrosion resistance; explosion-proof measures are not particularly necessary. But it’s not impossible to work in explosion prevention either; in this era where everyone is an expert, there should be no issue with becoming one as well.
