On March 20, the contract signing ceremony and kick-off meeting for the EPC project of YanNengHua’s 50,000-ton/year MTBE plant (including the butylene isomerization unit) were successfully held in Xi’an. Han Shidong, deputy general manager of the company, and heads of relevant departments, as well as Xu Jiantao, Party secretary and chairman of Beiyou Engineering Company, and relevant professional and technical personnel, also attended the meeting. At the meeting, Yanneng Chemical and Beiyou Engineering officially signed the EPC general contract for this project, marking its official entry into the construction phase. Beiyou Engineering provided a detailed report on the full-cycle design planning, milestone schedule, and overall quality control system. The two sides discussed the overall project schedule, the requirements for managing key milestones, and the mechanisms for coordinated progress, laying a solid foundation for achieving the project’s goals of \"starting on high standards, delivering with high quality, and completing tasks efficiently\". The 50,000 tons/year MTBE plant (including a butylene isomerization unit) project is a key step in advancing the transformation of the industrial structure toward higher value and greater differentiation; it also serves as an important support for the company’s efforts to implement new carbonyl-based material projects.
