On March 26, the second public tender for the consulting services on the feasibility study of the Dalian Petrochemical (Xizhongdao) integrated refining and chemical processing project was won. Selected candidate: Petroleum and Chemical Industry Planning Institute. The feasibility study report for the Dalian Petrochemical (Xizhongdao) integrated refining and chemical project has been approved by the joint-stock company. The project owner is the Dalian Petrochemical Branch of China National Petroleum Corporation, and the funding comes from the branch’s own funds, with a contribution rate of 100%. It mainly involves the construction of a chemical-type refinery with an annual capacity of 10 million tons, facilities for producing 1.2 million tons of ethylene per year along with downstream products such as low-carbon olefins, as well as systems for oil storage and transportation, utility facilities, auxiliary equipment, and off-site infrastructure.
