In the case of facilities for producing hydrogen through methanol cracking, both methanol and hydrogen fall under the category of hazardous chemicals that are subject to strict supervision in the first batch, and methanol cracking is considered a hazardous process; therefore, the fire separation distances must comply with the requirements of GB50160-2008. Additionally, this construction project involves the filling of gases, primarily oxygen, nitrogen, argon, and carbon dioxide. Since GB50160-2008 already applies to this project, the distances between oxygen and the buildings, structures, and walls surrounding the facility must also comply with the requirements of GB50160-2008. Is this reasonable?

Fire prevention is a matter of thermal radiation; the thermal radiation produced when the same medium burns is identical. The larger the storage volume, the more dangerous it is; the greater the variety, the more dangerous it is. It means the consequences of the accident are dangerous.
