Everything else said is correct. This is a positive-pressure reaction; mechanical seals need to take pressure into account, and mechanical seals with a pressurization system should be used.
If money isn’t a concern, use all tantalum material – then there will be no worries in the future!
Nitrogen filling might also be considered for the mechanical shaft seal section.
The C276 material for rupture discs is suitable; if the diameter is too large, it is recommended to apply a anti-corrosion coating to the rupture disc, as a larger diameter entails higher costs
The mechanical seals designed for enamel equipment use materials such as PTFE, graphite, and silicon carbide – all of which are highly resistant to corrosion – so there will be no problems with these seals. A design pressure of 1.0 is considered quite high; careful consideration should be given to the mechanical seal, and its pressure resistance needs to be verified with the supplier.
