Does the transparent cover of the emergency shutdown button in the central control room need to be sealed with a lead seal? Some people here say it should be added, while others say it shouldn’t. Please advise on the correct approach. Thank you.

It is not recommended to add anything; a plastic cover with a warning sign will suffice.
It’s easy to open a lead seal; no pliers are needed – otherwise why would it be called a “steel seal”?! It is recommended to add it. It serves as a reminder to prevent the transparent cover from being accidentally opened. It’s also easy to open when operation is needed. Without a transparent cover, it may be accidentally opened, leading to improper operation!

Why add it? Adding a protective cover is merely to prevent accidental touches; it hinders emergency operations. Wouldn’t adding a seal further complicate emergency operations?
