In what situations are filters and suction filters used? Why are filters used in some situations while suction filters are used in others?

Filters are generally operated under positive pressure, with the pressure being provided by a liquid level difference or a pump; they are suitable for materials over a wide temperature range ； Filter presses generally operate under negative pressure, which is created by vacuum pumps; their applicable temperature range is relatively narrow.
Is the filtration precision of the suction filter related to the height of the filter?
Can a suction filter achieve the same filtering precision as a regular filter?
They serve different purposes: filters are used to capture solid particles and large molecular substances, while vacuum filtration involves using negative pressure to draw out the liquid from solid materials
