The question of in which direction the steam pipes should be sloped

This post was last edited by shiworkstation on 2017-4-20 at 11:46. Since this steam pipe keeps rising, I would like to ask: 1. Is it possible to have such a slope? 2. Is this called a positive slope or a negative slope? How should it be described?
Does it also depend on the flow rate even if there is damage?
This is normal design. The slope depends on the length of the horizontal pipe. For example, at ordinary tension bending locations, the slope can be ignored; it is best to have a collection design in place for the location of the water-repellent valves
In a long pipe, if the slope is reduced, the flow velocity increases; isn’t that the same as having no slope at all?
For steam pipes, how long can a straight section be? ? Tension bends should be designed based on expansion considerations; unless an expansion joint design similar to that used in thermal power plants is employed, in which case the drain devices need to be designed according to a specific length
For gas-phase transport, this is a normal design to remove the condensed water, but the slope size depends on the length of the pipeline
It’s normal for steam to be designed this way; I think this slope is also acceptable
