Can producer gas be used as fuel for boilers? The producer is a two-stage type; the gas pressure in the lower stage is 2–2.5 KPa, while it is 1–1.5 KPa in the upper stage. Now, a 2-ton steam boiler is needed, with a steam pressure of 0.6 MPa. So what should be done if the gas pressure in the gas generator is insufficient? Can a pipe be used to increase the pump’s capacity?
It works fine without pressurization; the pipes are just a bit thicker.
