This post was last edited by silidi520 on 2017-5-11 at 13:32. Hello everyone, I need help: ultrasonic flowmeters are used for measuring natural gas. Is a flowmeter inlet necessarily required to have a flow straightener?
The rectifier is primarily used to convert the airflow from turbulent to laminar in order to meet the measurement requirements of the flow meter; unless there is a sufficiently long straight pipe section ahead of the flow meter, a rectifier may not be necessary
