May I ask whether the height of the perimeter wall of an oil depot should be measured from the inside or the outside of the wall? Since there are parapets on the outside in some cases, is there any relevant standard? Thank you!
It’s definitely within the wall; there are volume requirements. This issue might be discussed more in the process section
Are you asking about the height of the factory wall in the oil depot area, or the height of the dike around the tank area? If it’s the height of the factory wall, then the general design specifications should be referred to; if it’s the height of the dike around the tank area, then the Fire Protection Design Code for Oil Depots should be followed.
The height of the oil depot fence is determined according to design requirements, while the cofferdam is based on the internal floor level
The “Code for Design of Oil Depots” GB 50074-2014 does not require any calculations
