What do Terg and Terf mean?

Treg is the temperature of the contaminated nitrogen after it passes through the heater; it is also the “regeneration temperature” required for regenerating the adsorbent. It is commonly referred to by foreigners as the temperature after the heating element. Tref is even simpler – it represents the temperature of the contaminated nitrogen before heating (i.e., when the heater is turned off); it is commonly called the cooling temperature, while in technical terms it is referred to as the “reference temperature”. When the outlet temperature of the adsorber is approximately equal to Tref, regeneration can be considered complete. . The diagram showing the heating and cooling process of the molecular sieve purifier in air separation is quite easy to understand. Compare it with the flowchart and the sequence of valves, and also refer to the temperature-time graph – the temperature at time t1, and the temperature at time t2. . . . When to introduce polluted nitrogen, turn off the air, turn on the heater, and then turn it off. . . . This diagram can be found in the operation and training manuals of many air separation plants; it’s copied from books.
