Should steel structure foundations use embedded foot bolts or embedded steel plates, or can both be used?
It should be foot bolts; embedding steel plates serves a different purpose~
Personally, I think embedded bolts are better, because if embedded steel plates are used, they cannot be prefabricated in advance, which reduces labor efficiency； But I’m not sure if there are any regulatory standards requiring this

In steel structure construction, both embedded foot bolts and embedded steel plates are used. Embedded foot bolts require high precision, whereas embedded steel plates offer more room for adjustment. But for casting equipment, foundation bolts are perhaps the more common choice.
Both are used in the design.
