Distillation tower (at reduced and atmospheric pressure), with products exiting only from the top and bottom of the tower, enabling simple separation. How to improve the recovery rate of the recombination (bottom of tower) fraction.
Increase the outlet temperature of the heating furnace, while increasing the reflux at the top of the tower.
This question is ambiguous; in the case of continuous distillation used to separate two components, it depends on the requirements regarding the composition of the materials at the top and bottom of the tower. If you are using an existing column and only need to ensure the content of the reconstituted component, then you can simply increase the height of the stripping section.
I’m not sure whether it’s about operation or design. If it’s a design issue, then increase the number of trays in the distillation section; if it’s an operational issue, then increase the amount of material taken from the top or reduce the reflux rate. Or increase the kettle temperature.
