There is a separator here; previously there was no mesh demister, and now one is to be installed. However, the size specified when placing the order was too small. What are the potential problems if it is installed in this way? Can it achieve the effect of removing foam and mist? Thank you

It depends on the requirements of the process; in particular, the additional degasser installed later on is likely to cause changes in the resistance across the towers, which in turn can lead to changes in fluid flow. This needs to be taken into careful consideration

Cut the plates and weld them to the tower body, then drill holes and use screws for connection?
