The regulations in China for setting up factories abroad aren’t very useful, are they?
It should be fine to use Chinese standards or other standard specifications; the main thing is that the project gets approval from foreign construction authorities
It’s best to refer to the local **regulations** – how do you recruit people where you are?
Chemical projects in Thailand generally use American standards.

National standards are not yet strong enough to have an impact abroad; Chinese high-speed railways are another matter
