Our company uses ammonia with a concentration of 5%-10%. In the past, the design institute specified that there should be no structures or installations within 15 meters of the ammonia storage tank; however, due to constraints imposed by the on-site construction conditions, the tank can only be placed as close as possible to other elements. I would like to know which standard should be used to determine the safe distance for the ammonia storage tank If it’s truly impossible to meet the safety distance, are there any corresponding measures?

It’s only 30 cubic meters, so a spacing of 15 meters isn’t necessary.
For ammonia water with a hazard level of less than 10%, it is not necessary to classify it as Category B; it can be classified as Category D or E instead.
10% ammonia solution is classified as Category V. You didn’t specify whether it’s in a tank area or a workshop; the building codes have no requirements regarding Category V tanks and buildings
