The difference between large-scale chemical process design and gas engineering design

The company is not doing well; I’m currently working on chemical process design. . There was a recent interview opportunity for gas design work. Are there any people in this forum who are familiar with gas design? How much is the difference? Are there any recommended standards? I’d like to get familiar with them a bit. Thank you!
I’m not very familiar with it, but I think the gas design should be simpler
