However, I have recently seen setups where a flow orifice valve + gate valve is used in the minimum return line. I’m not sure what advantages this approach has over the conventional ones; I would appreciate some guidance from those who know more. O(∩_∩)O Thank you

When automatic start/stop is set, the protection pump has fluid flowing through it to prevent cavitation
To ensure a minimum flow rate, part of the pump’s outlet flow returns to the inlet, thereby preventing vaporization at the inlet due to low flow rates~~~~~~~The flow orifice valve refers to a flow throttling valve (orifice plate valve)~~~
Is there a difference between the two? Isn’t it just one being translated into English? Did I misunderstand it again?
This design actually makes no difference; there is another design in which the above two elements remain unchanged, but an auxiliary line equipped with a gate valve is added at the flow-limiting orifice plate
