Seeking expert advice: How to separate formic acid with DMF and PPM-level concentrations?

I’m seeking advice from experts: DMF contains approximately 50PPM of formic acid. Could experienced professionals tell me how to separate this amount of formic acid from DMF? Can it be separated using a distillation tower? Thank you first!
It is difficult to separate components with such low concentrations using a distillation tower; auxiliary methods based on other properties are required. It may be hard to remove trace amounts of formic acid through direct distillation. The chemical properties of formic acid can be utilized to consider using ion exchange resins to remove it, but pilot tests are required for this.
