It is a tank 10 meters long with a diameter of 2 meters; it is insulated from the outside at 90°C. The liquid at 70°C enters from the top and exits from the bottom – will the temperature of the liquid inside decrease?
How can one determine whether the heat tracing is sufficient and what the insulation condition is, if one doesn’t know these things? If the jar is exposed, with a symbolic line drawn around it, how is it possible that the temperature won’t drop?
With insulation material applied to the outer wall, the temperature should not drop; in fact, it might even rise slightly
