What is the production process for **furan at BASF?

The furan-polyfuran integrated process that BASF has built in Shanghai is said to involve the direct air oxidation of butane to obtain maleic anhydride, which is then hydrogenated to produce THF. Does anyone know the general manufacturing process? Thank you all! !

I have seen Basf Shanghai’s environmental impact assessment document, which states that two production routes are in use simultaneously: the butane/cyclohexanone method and the BDO method
It’s not certain to be included in the environmental impact assessment report; using maleic anhydride to produce BDO is pure nonsense. Back in 2013, I saw BASF looking around for companies that would buy BDO. BASF’s maleic anhydride is also not available in the market at present.
The BASF process doesn’t use BDO, and I heard that a new line has been installed using the Reppe method; I’m not sure which information is reliable
