What about the setting pressure for safety valves? What is the typical setting pressure for a safety valve? 1.05-1.1 times the operating pressure, or 1.05-1.1 times the maximum operating pressure? Do I need to round it after the calculation? Please provide a detailed introduction
The typical pressure setting is two digits after the decimal point, in megapascals.
For safety reasons, use 1.1 times the maximum operating pressure, but not more than the design pressure of the equipment.
Not more than the design pressure, unless a maximum allowable operating pressure is specified
