The selection of a catalyst begins with reviewing literature to identify the possible options, followed by contacting suppliers to obtain samples for pilot tests. Once their effectiveness is confirmed, the reactor design and the methods for using the catalyst are determined based on the process flow. If necessary, pilot tests will also be conducted to confirm whether the catalyst and reactor designs are appropriate. At each of these steps, there are corresponding test reports and conclusions.

What you’re suggesting is the safest and most scientific approach. However, it takes a long time, and I believe that ordinary manufacturing companies do not have the resources to conduct such tests. How can one choose the best option without conducting test comparisons?
