In a Class V warehouse of level 2, are fire hydrants connected to the water supply network? Is that acceptable? The 2006 version of the building codes allowed for combined use, but this provision is no longer included in the current version
Sure. However, after subtracting the water consumption for production and domestic use from the total flow in the water supply network, the remaining flow must meet the requirements for fire-fighting water use in Class E warehouses.
