1. According to Table 5.1.6 of SH/3007-2014, the unit for respiratory volume obtained from the table is m3/h； 2. In accordance with 3.3.2.3.3 Thermal Inbreathing of API2000-2014, the unit for thermal breathing volume is Nm3/h ； 3. In accordance with Table A.3—Normal Venting Requirements for Thermal Effects in API2000-2014, the ventilation rate is expressed in Nm3/h ； Why are the units for this standard inconsistent?
The latter is a unit under standard conditions, so it shouldn’t affect usage.
Table 5.1.6 in SH/3007-2014 does not specify the conditions corresponding to the volumetric flow rate, and since this table is based on the API standards, the units should follow those of API. In the API standards, the liquid flow rate is explicitly specified to be equal in Equations 1 and 5 in the main text; Appendix Table A.1 then multiplies this value by a coefficient based on the flash point. Does the original poster know which value should be used? The calculated values from Equations 7 and 9 in the main text differ significantly from those in Table A.3 of the appendix, suggesting that the formulas used for calculation are not reliable.
