What parameters should be considered in the calculation for heat exchanger selection?
Heat transfer coefficient, heat transfer area, material of the heat exchanger, viscosity of the material, and whether it tends to clog the heat exchanger channels
Rather than asking this question, first ask yourself what you already know about heat exchangers. That way you’ll understand what aspects need to be taken into account from a calculation perspective: temperature difference, type of fluid, desired flow rate, size and length of the tube bundle, which fluid flows on the tube side/shell side, physical parameters (such as specific heat)...... If you haven’t defined or understood these things yet, and you’ve never worked with heat exchangers before, you can look up information online first; ask questions only if you still don’t understand it—don’t ask just because it occurs to you.....
