Types of floor installations in gas areas

Question: In the explosion-proof areas of gas equipment, is it standard to use ordinary cement flooring or spark-proof flooring? I would appreciate your advice. Experts from various fields are also welcome to share their views.
It’s supposed to be explosion-proof by regulation, but in practice many of them use cement instead. Personally, I think it doesn’t make much difference, as all the tools used on site are already explosion-proof; where could sparks come from then?
The main concern is that sparks are generated when iron objects collide with cement; therefore, it might be better to use a spark-free floor, although this comes at a higher cost.
