Why does the flow meter keep showing 0, even though it is confirmed that water is flowing through the pipe?
In the first case, it is because the flow rate inside the pipe is too low and falls outside the measuring range of the flow meter; the flow rate can be increased to see if an instantaneous flow value is displayed. The second scenario is a fault in the flow meter itself or improper use (for example, the zero point not being set correctly, or the flow meter having a low-signal rejection feature)
As a supplementary measure, blow on the positive and negative pipes of the flow meter at the root of the differential transformer to check for any blockages.

What kind of flow meter are we talking about? There are many reasons for this – for example, whether it’s a suitable match; with an electromagnetic flow meter, the water may not work properly. Factors such as conductivity or clogging also play a role. Ultimately, it depends on what type of flow meter it is
