Gentle masters! The centrifugal pump must convey liquid continuously, as discontinuous flow can damage the impeller and motor. I would like to ask whether there are any pumps that can handle discontinuous fluid flow
What is a discontinuous liquid? ? If it’s discontinuous, use a buffer tank.

Who says that centrifugal pumps transfer liquids continuously? That’s nonsense. Even air pumps have interlocked shutdown protection.
A centrifugal pump outputs pressurized liquid by means of centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the impeller; the discontinuous flow of liquid can easily cause cavitation in the centrifugal pump. Positive displacement pumps and reciprocating pumps transfer liquid discontinuously; the liquid is delivered in intermittent bursts. Just like alternating current, it enables continuous pressure transmission of the liquid through pressure tanks and dampers.
The flow rate and pressure of gear pumps, reciprocating pumps, and the like are discontinuous, taking on a periodic pulsed form.
