During MVR operation, the liquid that flows out of the evaporator is saturated liquid; in what equipment are the crystals formed, and where are they produced?
Reaches saturation, meets the crystallization conditions, and can form at any time!
Salt can be obtained directly in the centrifuge only after crystals form in the evaporator
There are many things involved afterward, like cooling and crystallization? Thermal crystallization? Centrifuge? If it is saturated, no salt will be produced; a supersaturated solution is required. There is too little information provided to make a judgment
A salt-containing saturated solution flows inside the evaporator; at the outlet of the evaporator, a small amount of water vaporizes, and at this point crystals should have already precipitated.
What is the principle behind salt removal in a centrifuge? Is it by removing the excess water?
The salt has already been removed in the evaporator; the function of the centrifuge is merely to remove the water
It should be that crystals are formed inside the evaporator; thereafter, the mother liquor with a specific gravity suitable for separation enters the centrifuge, thereby enabling the separation of the crystals from the mother liquor
Generally, an evaporator is followed by a crystallizer, and the crystallizer is followed by a centrifuge
