I would like to ask: when working, how do you determine the conditions for adjusting control valves and shut-off valves? Most importantly, how do you determine the pressures before and after the valve? Could you give an example? Thank you
Specify according to the process parameters. For example, for the discharge control valve at the bottom of a distillation column, if the operating pressure of the column is 2 kilograms and the pressure in the storage tank is 1 kilogram, then the pressure before the valve will be 2 kilograms and the pressure after the valve will be 1 kilogram. Of course, it is necessary to indicate whether the values refer to absolute pressure or gauge pressure when specifying these conditions.
