What line types are used when drawing construction drawings?

What line style is generally used for existing equipment, pipes, valves, etc. in the system diagrams, configuration diagrams, and floor plans of renovation projects?
The pipes can be made thicker; the equipment should be shown as solid thin lines. How can we distinguish the existing ones then?
It depends on how you design it. My personal opinion is as follows: 1. For the drawings of this project, whether old or new, they should ultimately include all pipes, valves, equipment, instruments, etc. (excluding those that are to be removed and no longer used), so as to facilitate the management and operation of documents later on. The line styles should be consistent; otherwise, every time there is a modification, the line styles will become chaotic； 2. For the newly added equipment, is it included in the schematic diagram, or in the equipment layout diagram, structural details diagram, or some other type of diagram? 3. The document should be an upgraded version based on the files of the existing project, and it should include an upgrade indicator; the remarks section should specify the exact parts that have been modified in this diagram, such as which devices or pipes have been added, modified, or removed.
