After the abolition of GB50031 – Design Code for Acetylene Stations, which code should be used for design? Is there no up-to-date design code available? To design an acetylene busbar station, the client requires it to be built inside or next to the factory building. With a flow rate of 10 m3/h, it is acceptable according to the 1991 standards; but what should be considered now that those standards have been repealed? Aging to hear a reply. Furthermore, according to the requirements of the 91st edition standards, the storage capacity in the bottle warehouse should be at least 5 times the amount needed for one day and one night; therefore, this busbar room would have to hold 200 full bottles and 200 empty bottles. Can it be built adjacent to the factory building?
According to clause 4.0.3 of the 91st edition standards, even for reserves of no more than 1 day, 40 full bottles and 40 empty bottles are required. The regulations also do not specify how many actual gas cylinders can be stored if the facility is built adjacent to other factories. How do I solve this?
The Engineering Technical Specifications for Special Gas Systems can be referred to; the number of cylinders can be determined based on requirements and the local gas supply situation.
