Design date, manufacturing date, and completion date of manufacturing

Just now, the local inspection agency said that the date on my design drawings was past its expiration date, and the manufacturing started within that design date; but now the inspection agency says it’s not acceptable! I’m speechless! Is it sufficient that the manufacturing date falls within the design date, without needing to consider the actual completion date of manufacturing?

The drawings provided by the design institute have an expiration date on their design qualification license that falls in 2018. My products were manufactured in 2018 (at that time the license was not expired), and now, in 2019, the products are finished. When I submitted them to the local supervision and inspection agency, they said that my drawings were no longer valid, which is unacceptable!
I understand what you mean. The Special Inspection Agency is correct. The design drawings must be legal and valid by the project completion deadline; otherwise, the Special Inspection Institute cannot issue its seal. The design institute can be asked to provide again the drawings from the catalog with valid design qualifications (after renewal).
The key point is that the design institute did not renew its contract, and that was up to 2018. My understanding is that as long as the relevant specifications for the drawings are not updated or changed later on, these drawings will remain valid. If the standards and specifications are revised later, my drawings will definitely no longer be compliant.

If the design institute does not renew its license, you’ll be in trouble. All the drawings and installation documents that your company needs to submit for review by the Special Inspection Agency must be valid permission documents.
How is it possible for a design institute that is operating normally to have its design qualifications expire without renewal? With assets worth tens of millions (intangible assets in the form of design qualifications), why say no just like that? There are probably stories inside that you don’t know about.
