Help: Is it necessary to install an on-site thermometer in epoxy storage tanks?

Our plant currently has two 100m3 ethylene oxide storage tanks, with an operating pressure of 0.1MPA–0.2MPA and a temperature range of -5 to 10°C. The temperature is currently measured using thermocouples, and the data is sent to the DCS system for remote display, alarm generation, and interlock functions (three measurement points are taken at the top, middle, and bottom of each tank). Safety inspection experts have stated that these storage tanks require the installation of on-site bimetallic thermometers. We are not sure which standards the experts are referring to; could the installation of digital display instruments in addition to the existing thermocouples meet the requirements? We would appreciate it if experts could provide some guidance on this matter.
Is it mandatory to install an on-site temperature gauge?
