Should the valves built into the equipment be shown on the flowchart? If you want to indicate how to distinguish it from other valves
Draw a frame around the device using dashed lines, and place the device along with its attached accessories inside it.
So this device belongs to the system, to the supplier. A dashed box is added around the entire device system to enclose it, and the supplier is placed within the standard line while the workshop is placed outside that line
I don’t think it can be framed. It’s a reactor with many pipe connections; only one of these connections is equipped with a valve, while the others don’t have any valves
Why can’t it be drawn? In our drawing method, the equipment is enclosed within a box; the part where the pipe exits is part of the equipment itself and lies inside the box, while everything else is outside the box. A flowchart is not a diagram showing the actual locations of the pipes; it’s sufficient if the positions are more or less correct.
And if all those dozen or so reaction kettles were enclosed, it would look too fancy. It would be good to have a separate method for handling this valve
This is also a method. Can it be drawn as a dashed line?
Is it to be lazy, or was the design not properly planned from the start? I don’t understand what’s so difficult about drawing this line. . . I’ll send you a sample image.
Only the lowest one is a discharge valve; the others are not part of the equipment
So what does it matter? Connecting all the pipe openings with horizontal and vertical lines, and including the one below as well within the equipment – is that difficult?
