It is best to evacuate the reaction vessel first before raising the temperature; if the temperature is raised first and then evacuated, boiling over may occur. There is no major issue with raising the temperature while evacuating as well
It is related to the properties of the material inside the reactor; for example, the material does not tend to experience negative pressure flashing (vaporization) at the highest operating temperature; Then the deoxygenation effect on the reaction will be better!
First, reduce the vacuum level to the pressure required by the process, and then proceed with the heating process in accordance with the established procedures. Generally, vacuum operation is used to lower the boiling point or to remove gases that are generated; it is not possible to heat the material first and then create a vacuum, as this could lead to safety issues. The simultaneous vaporization of large amounts of material or the generation of a large volume of gas in a short period of time can pose an explosion risk. Safety is no trivial matter; follow the procedures when operating.
Check whether any dangerous substances are formed during the heating process. If not, then to save time, it can be done while heating and evacuating; otherwise, they should be done separately.
