Here is the process flow: Sulfur is manually fed into an underground feeding hopper, and then evenly delivered via an electromagnetic vibration feeder onto a belt conveyor with a large inclination angle, leading to the rapid sulfur melting tank (where a manual three-way directional valve is used to select between Tank 1 or Tank 2). There, it is heated by steam coils to be melted into liquid sulfur. The liquid sulfur in the rapid sulfur melting tank overflows through an overflow port into the coarse sulfur tank. The coarse sulfur pump sends this liquid sulfur to the aid-filtering tank, where silica sand is added and mixed thoroughly; it is then pumped by the aid-filtering pump into the sulfur filtration machine for pre-coating. After pre-coating is approved, the filter aid pump is stopped, and the crude sulfur pump is started to feed liquid sulfur into the liquid sulfur filter for filtration. The filtered, qualified liquid sulfur then enters the intermediate tank, from where it is pumped via an intermediate pump into the liquid sulfur storage tank for future use. The steam at 0.8 MPa from the company’s pipeline system is reduced in pressure to 0.6 MPa through automatic pressure regulation, and then used as sulfur melting steam to melt sulfur in the rapid sulfur melting tank; the condensed water from this steam enters the main condensate pipe. Steam at 0.4 MPa from the company’s pipeline network is used for insulation purposes; it enters the pipe jackets and the heating coils in the tanks to provide insulation. The condensate water enters the main condensate pipe and returns to the condensate tank for centralized collection.
