Our factory uses gas-fired heat transfer oil furnaces, and the temperature of the oil in the expansion tank is the same as that of the circulating oil. What could be the reason for this? Is it possible that the valve of the expansion tube in the expansion tank isn’t closed? Should it be closed?
How can it expand if it’s turned off? A properly designed expansion tank does not participate in the cycle. Could it be that the pressure in the circulation system changes frequently? When the pressure is low, fluid flows out of the expansion tank, and when the pressure rises, it returns to the expansion tank; in essence, the expansion tank facilitates this circulation process
