When drawing CAD process flow diagrams, A1 paper size is generally used, with A2 being used in simpler cases. Is the font size the same for both A1 and A2 paper sizes?
It must be the same, regardless of whether it’s A1 or A2
Let me ask further: if I use a valve, such as a ball valve, in the A1 and A2 drawings, is the size of this valve the same? Or, in the case of the instrumentation diagram, where I draw things at a scale of 1:100, and the diameter of the instrumentation interlock circle is 1000, what is its size in the A2 drawing?
It remains the same size; the font size depends only on your drawing scale. For example, if you are using A1 paper and choose a font size of 4 with a scale of 100, then on A2, A3, and other sizes, if you still use a scale of 100, the font size will remain the same.

As long as the scaling of the drawings is the same, they can be directly pasted in; Flowcharts don’t necessarily require enlarged frames; if everything is enlarged by the same scale, the text height, symbols, and other elements inside will also be enlarged accordingly ; For example: in the gauge symbols, the diameter of the circle is 10 (this is the specified size in the original drawing frame); when the drawing frame is enlarged by 100 times, the diameter of the symbols becomes 1000. When placed in an A1 (A2/A3/A4) drawing frame that has been enlarged by 100 times, the diameter remains 1000, independent of the size of the drawing paper and depending only on the scaling factor ;
