Can a pipe rack take root in a wall? ? Especially on brick walls? ?

Only with embedded steel plates can the pipe rack be welded directly onto it. Otherwise, the brick wall won’t be able to bear stress, and the wall might collapse. Check the atlas for pipe racks, OP!
The structural engineering department has the final say; the location for root growth is submitted to them, and they generally reject it. The structural engineering department doesn’t care about how it’s done in practice. I don’t dare to say anything more.
If the load is small, of course there’s no problem. Isn’t it the same principle as using a nail on the wall to hang things in the past?
1. From a mechanical perspective, the structure must permit it. 2. From a piping perspective, if your wall is part of the building structure, Class A pipes that are not related to this building cannot be installed in it.
One needs to take into account the weight of the support frames and pipes. Moreover, metal plates are usually embedded in concrete walls; in brick-concrete structures, they are embedded in beams or columns – plates aren’t generally embedded directly in the walls
Roots can be used to provide support on walls, but it is important to take into account the load of the pipes being supported. If the load is heavy, it is better to use beams and columns for support rather than the walls. If the load is light, it can take root in a brick wall.
