As the title suggests, I have a question regarding the requirement that the inspection ratio for fixed joints be no less than 40%: does this refer to 40% of the total number of joints that need to be inspected, or 40% of the number of joints that have already been inspected? For example, if there are 10 welds on a pipeline and the inspection ratio is 20%, then inspecting 1 movable joint and 1 fixed joint results in a ratio of 50%, which meets the requirement. But in order to cover all welders, let’s say there are 3 welders doing the work; if I inspect 3 movable joints, do I just need to inspect 1 more fixed joint? That would mean inspecting 4 joints in total – 3 movable joints plus 1 fixed joint. Does this meet the requirement? Is the ratio sufficient?
