During the intermittent filtration process, after the filter cake is removed, some residue may remain on the filter screen. These residual filter residues may have a certain impact on the next filtration process. The presence of filter residue may increase the resistance of the filter screen, resulting in reduced flow rate during the next filtration or a decline in the quality of the filter cake. Therefore, it is best to clean the filter screen before the next filtration process, to ensure that there are no residual residues on its surface, thus guaranteeing the effectiveness and quality of the next filtration. .
The type of filtration method generally has no impact, but some may affect the sealing performance or cause leaks.
The transition from initial resistance to maximum resistance during filtration is a filtration process. Therefore, the amount of residue determines the time efficiency of the processing.

Interestingly, the newly installed filter cloth in the filter press is prone to leakage, but this issue improves after a few days of use; the filter cloth requires an appropriate amount of \"coating\". For bag filters, pre-spraying is also required after replacing the bags.
