I would like to ask my colleagues for recommendations regarding sight glasses for equipment on tanks used for materials that crystallize at low temperatures The material will crystallize at temperatures below 85°C, with an operating pressure of -99 kPa. I saw before that there are scraper-type viewports; I’m not sure about their sealing performance. Do any colleagues in a similar situation have any suggestions? I am extremely grateful
For equipment sight glasses used with materials that crystallize at low temperatures, heated sight glasses can be considered. These sight glasses are equipped with a built-in heating mechanism that ensures the surface temperature of the glass remains above the crystallization temperature, thereby preventing material crystallization from hindering visibility.
