7 chemicals added to the List of Existing Chemical Substances in China

On January 10, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment released information on 7 chemical substances that are proposed to be added to the List of Existing Chemical Substances in China for the first batch in 2025 (the 13th batch in total). 　　These 7 chemicals are: 2-hydroxy-4-methanethiobutyric acid (C5H10O3S), which is primarily used as a feed nutrient fortifier ； Diisopropyl dithiouronate (C8H14O2S4) is primarily used in the rubber industry and the papermaking industry ； Ammonium 4-nitrobenzoate (C7H5NO4.H3N) is mainly used as an intermediate in pharmaceuticals and in the manufacture of dyes ； Ammonium dodecanoate (C12H22O4.xH3N) ； Ammonium citrate (C6H17N3O7) is primarily used in the fine chemical industry, food industry, and detergent production ； 1-(Chloromethyl)-4-fluorobenzene (C7H6ClF), mainly used in the pharmaceutical and pesticide industries ； (2S,3S,5R)-3-Methyl-7-oxo-3-(1H-1,2,3-triazol-1-ylmethyl)-4-thia-1-azabicycloheptane-2-carboxylic acid 4,4-dioxide (C10H12N4O5S) is primarily used as a β-lactamase inhibitor.
